Women Emowerment Cell
The Women Empowerment Cell of Annapoorna Institute of Management Research was established in the year 2010 with aiming at intellectual and social upliftment of women and also to empower girl students and women faculty by providing equal opportunities and safety and security measures. The cell provides a platform for women by creating awareness about rights and duties of women with the help of Guest Lectures, seminars, Awareness Programmes and other supportive activities.
Vision
To promote personal and professional wellbeing of female students, and working female staff of the institute and to provide supportive and empowering environment.
Misssion
To provide a wide range of knowledge and skills to women to improve their financial, societal, and intellectual capacities for societal peace, security, and prosperity.
Objectives
- To create awareness about women’s, rights and duties.
- To aware about gender equalities.
- To encourage greater participation of women to develop leadership qualities by organizing various competitions.
- To celebrate international Women’s Day by felicitating students and women achievers
- To inculcate entrepreneurial attitude among girl students.
- To create awareness about health, hygiene, safety and security.
